Powerful question. It is hard to imagine a life without the internet. Some people feel there has been a loss of that "personal touch" and human interaction because of the Internet. But, I think it has give us a way to reach out and get to know more people, find opportunity and experience new things.

Re: Internet Marketing Psychology

I just wondering if people don't discover internet what should be our situation today. It's true, the marketing technique of fear of loss. I think, though, that it is important to be sincere. I mean this in the sense that if you say it will NEVER take place again, then it shouldn't. Duplication of such is sort of like crying Wolf over and over. There is a specific well known dept. store, of which I won't mention, but I get tired of continually getting flyers that this is the last sale, or the best sale. You know what? I have become numb to their advertising because I know it's not true. I know that if I miss the sale, there is sure to be another flyer in the mail next week.

Re: Use This Word, Because, It Will Increase Your Business!

Just ordered the book, "Influence", looking forward to reading it and seeing how it can help me in my job. I am a guidance counselor in a high school, and think that this might be advantageous in working with students, parents, fellow teachers, and administrators. Will comment later after I get a few chapters read.
